I find this trend interesting (Google queries for the term “best ever” over time). My hypothesis: While search algorithms improve, delivering more accurate results, web content multiplies tenfold. This makes it so that content creators have a hard time being seen and the consumer sees ‘relevant yet not quite exactly what they’re looking for’ content.
